Ride smooth but not phenomenal. Car drives smoothly but on the vague and float side. It feels American, which is because it’s a Ford.

It doesn’t reek, there’s a faint whiff. And most customers don’t get a loaner at all. And he originally gave us a Saturn, but then switched us up to this.

You might be surprised to learn that the platform was co-designed by Jaguar and Ford. Since Ford had nothing like it at the time (about the closest thing they have now, after 15 years, is the S550 platform used in the Mustang), it has a lot of Jaguar DNA, hence the reputation for terrible reliability.
